Egyptian logistics company Mylerz has raised more than EGP100 million, equivalent to over $2 million, through a combination of debt and equity from existing shareholders. The fresh capital will support fulfilment infrastructure, working capital, delivery-network capacity and continued investment in the technology behind its same-day and next-day services.
Key Overview
- Lorax Capital Partners led the financing, with participation from Fawry and other existing investors.
- The funding combines equity investment with debt rather than representing a newly labelled venture round.
- Mylerz plans to strengthen its balance sheet and expand fulfilment and delivery capacity across Egypt.
- The investment follows the company’s $9.6 million funding round completed in 2022.
- Rising online retail activity is increasing demand for reliable warehousing, order processing and last-mile delivery.
Existing Investors Deepen Their Commitment
The new financing package was led by Lorax Capital Partners, with Fawry and other existing shareholders participating. Mylerz has not disclosed its valuation, the precise equity-to-debt split or whether the transaction has been assigned a formal funding stage.
Rather than financing an immediate international push, the company says the capital will be deployed primarily in Egypt. The proceeds are expected to strengthen its balance sheet and working-capital position while increasing the resources available for infrastructure and operational expansion.
The latest investment builds on a relationship established in 2022, when Mylerz closed a $9.6 million round led by Lorax Capital Partners with Fawry participating. At that time, the company operated more than 350 environmentally friendly vehicles and 21 fulfilment hubs across Egypt, while planning a larger automated fulfilment centre near Cairo.
Mylerz Connects Fulfilment With Last-Mile Delivery
Founded in Cairo in 2019 by Samer Gharaibeh, Mylerz operates an integrated logistics model covering warehousing, fulfilment, domestic last-mile delivery, cross-border e-commerce and broader supply-chain services.
Its technology-supported logistics platform allows merchants to coordinate shipments and operational activity through one system. This reduces the need for online sellers to separately manage inventory storage, order processing, dispatch and delivery relationships.
The company’s model is particularly relevant for merchants offering same-day or next-day delivery. Faster service depends on more than adding vehicles: products must be positioned in suitable fulfilment facilities, orders must be processed accurately, routes must be coordinated and customers must receive timely delivery information.
Mylerz says it currently operates across Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Tunisia and Algeria. However, the latest capital is specifically intended to deepen its Egyptian operations, which remain central to the business.

Egypt’s E-commerce Growth Raises Logistics Demand
The financing arrives as online retail continues to expand in Egypt. Recent market analysis of Egyptian retail e-commerce estimated that the sector grew by 30% in value during 2025 to EGP166.9 billion, supported by consumer adoption, digital payments and investment in fulfilment infrastructure.
This growth increases pressure on logistics providers to deliver consistently while handling more orders. Merchants increasingly compete not only on product selection and price but also on delivery speed, shipment visibility, returns management and the overall customer experience.
For Mylerz, expanding fulfilment capacity can help place inventory closer to buyers and reduce the time between order confirmation and dispatch. Additional working capital can also support the daily expenses involved in operating warehouses, delivery fleets, staffing and technology systems before merchant payments are fully collected.
Capital Targets Scale Without Sacrificing Service
Mylerz plans to invest in the proprietary platform supporting its same-day and next-day proposition while expanding network capacity. According to independent reporting on the raise, the company also intends to preserve the operating discipline and service quality established since launch.
The funding gives Mylerz more room to capture Egypt’s growing online retail volumes, but execution will determine the impact. Expanding logistics networks can increase revenue capacity, yet it also raises fixed costs and operational complexity. Warehouse utilisation, delivery success rates, route efficiency and merchant retention will therefore be important measures of whether the investment translates into sustainable growth.
The deal also shows continued confidence from investors already familiar with Mylerz. Their renewed backing suggests they see further value in combining fulfilment infrastructure, last-mile capacity and merchant-facing technology within Egypt’s developing e-commerce ecosystem.
