Fin.com Raises $20 Million for Stablecoin Payments

New York payments startup Fin.com has raised $20 million in seed funding to expand its infrastructure for moving stablecoins into local bank accounts and digital wallets.

According to Fortune, the financing closed in August and was led by Expa and Uber cofounder Garrett Camp. Coinbase Ventures, Tenet Fund, founders of Figure, Mesh founder Bam Azizi, Second Sight Ventures and investors linked to sovereign and royal family offices in the Gulf and Africa also participated.

Fin.com did not disclose its valuation.

Founded by Nabeel Alamgir and Mustafa Dar, the company is building white-label payment infrastructure that enables businesses to collect, convert and distribute money using a combination of stablecoins and local banking rails.

The company is prioritizing South Asia, Africa and the Middle East as key expansion markets.

Solving the Stablecoin “Last Mile”

Fin.com’s product focuses on a point in cross-border payments where blockchain settlement still depends on conventional financial systems: converting digital dollars into spendable local currency.

Alamgir described the company’s objective as solving the “last mile delivery problem,” referring to the process of moving funds from stablecoin rails into bank accounts and wallets.

Through a single API, Fin.com says businesses can accept bank transfers, international wires and stablecoins while sending payouts to bank accounts, mobile wallets and local payment networks.

The platform currently lists support for over 40 currencies and payouts across more than 30 countries, with USDC and USDT available as settlement assets.

Local Payment Networks and Mobile Money

Fin.com supports local payment methods including ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments, PIX and UPI.

On the payout side, the company lists mobile-money services such as M-Pesa, GCash and Airtel Money among available routes.

The company says its routing technology selects payment paths based on factors including speed, cost and availability.

Fin.com claims most transfers can settle in under 60 minutes, compared with the two-to-five-business-day window it assigns to conventional cross-border banking.

However, the company’s performance figures are claims and can vary depending on the payment corridor, banking partner, currency and compliance requirements.

Targeting Businesses and Cross-Border Platforms

Fin.com said its tools enable businesses including financial services firms, consumer platforms and prediction markets to integrate stablecoin flows.

Its infrastructure allows prediction market users to fund wallets from exchanges such as Binance and Crypto.com, while also helping platforms move corporate funds across borders.

Although Fin.com declined to name specific clients, it said its customers collectively serve more than 800 million users.

The company has not specified which countries it will enter first, what licensing approach it will use, or whether it will work through local partners or direct integrations.

Focus on South Asia, Africa and the Middle East

The founders, both immigrant entrepreneurs with backgrounds in fintech and operations, have identified South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East as central to Fin.com’s growth strategy.

The company said cross-border payments in these regions still depend heavily on correspondent banking, while local currency volatility can increase the cost of dollar-denominated settlement.

The $20 million seed funding will be used to support expansion in these markets.

In addition to its New York headquarters, Fin.com has offices in Las Vegas, Dubai, Dhaka, Bangalore and Lahore.

Fin.com Founders Bring Fintech Experience

Alamgir previously founded restaurant-technology company Lunchbox, while Dar founded private jet firm 24/7 Jet in 2012 before joining Expa as an investor in 2023.

Dar initially evaluated Fin.com as an investment opportunity before becoming a cofounder. Expa founding partner Vitor Lourenço also participated in the seed round as an investor.

“All of the Expa partners are immigrants. We grew up in different countries, so the opportunity of cross-border payments was very clear for us,” Lourenço told Fortune.

Growing Stablecoin Market

Fin.com is entering a stablecoin sector that has expanded since the U.S. Congress passed the Genius Act in July 2025, which created a federal framework for dollar-pegged stablecoins.

Stablecoin market capitalization reached more than $305 billion in September, according to DeFiLlama, representing growth of more than 77% year over year.

The expanding market has also attracted competition from companies including Circle, BVNK, and Bridge, the Stripe-owned stablecoin infrastructure provider.

Outlook

Fin.com’s $20 million seed round will support the company’s expansion of stablecoin-based payment infrastructure across South Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Its model combines stablecoin settlement with local banking and payment rails to help businesses move funds into local bank accounts and digital wallets.

With support for more than 40 currencies and payouts across over 30 countries, the company is positioning its infrastructure around cross-border payment flows. Its expansion plans, however, have not yet specified which countries will come first or what licensing and partnership structures will be used.
